STEM and Sports

AT NOCL we are bringing the fun of sports and incorporating it with STEM. Not every child wants to play a sport competitively. STEM and Sports allows every child to be able to learn a new sport while learning STEM concepts. STEM and Sports introduces STEM concepts through sports to encourage inquiry-based learning and project based learning to students. Our team combines STEM academics with sports to help 3rd-8th grade students develop skills that can be used for future jobs and real-life situations.

Looking for a new and exciting way for your child to learn a sport while also learning STEM concepts?

Well NOCL is bringing STEM and Sports. This hands-on method of learning the STEM fundamentals behind the game of basketball and volleyball will drive students towards their goals of not only becoming better players, but also becoming better students as they will get the answers to the “why” questions that surround the game. This program will assist students’ growth and potential both on and off the court.

The program runs for six weeks. The participants will meet twice a week for 2 hours.
